Detecting sensor (Front view cam

The sensor detects vehicles or
pedestrians ahead. In order for For

ward Collision-Avoidance Assist to
operate properly, always make sure
the sensor cover or sensor is clean
and free of dirt, snow, and debris.
Front view camera
Dirt, snow, or foreign substances
may adversely affect the sensing
performance of the sensor.
䳜 NEVER install any accessories or
stickers on the front windscreen,
or tint the front windscreen.
䳜 NEVER locate any reflective
objects (i.e. white paper, mirror)
over the dashboard. Any light
reflection may cause a malfunc

tion of the function.
䳜 Pay extreme caution to keep the
camera out of water.
䳜 NEVER disassemble the camera
assembly, or apply any impact on
the camera assembly.
If the sensor is forcibly moved out
of proper alignment, Forward
Collision-Avoidance Assist may
not operate correctly. In this case,
a warning message may not be
displayed. We recommend that
the vehicle be inspected by an
