The fuel filter is installed under the
engine cover on the right side of the
engine.
1. Close the fuel cock and clean the
area around the lter bowl.
2. Remove the filter after disengag-
ing the ring and removing the lter
bowl.

2. To adjust the play, unscrew the
lock nut and turn the turnbuckle.
3. After setting the play properly,
tighten the lock nut rmly. (Manual)
4. Water can get into the clutch hous-
ing when it rains or snows or when
washing the tractor. If this hap-
pens, remove the plug under the
clutch housing to drain water from
the housing. For details, refer to
“Draining water from clutch hous-
ing” in the chapter “Service”.

3. After cleaning you should reas-
semble the new filter element,
making sure that it is free from dust
and dirt. Assure that all o-rings are
in place.
