1. Wipe the surface of the fuel filter
clean.
2. Unscrew the plug on the bottom of
the fuel lter to drain fuel.
3. Remove the fuel lter.
4. Remove foreign materials, such
as dirt, thoroughly and replace the
fuel lter with a new one.

1. Make sure that the amount of fuel
in the tank is sufcient.
2.
If there is air in the fuel lter, turn
the filter cock to the air side and
turn the ignition key to turn the start
motor. Then, the air in the lter port
is discharged through the bleeding
hose as shown in the gure.
CAUTION
for more than 5 seconds con-

NOTE
It is not necessary to bleed the
system if lling the tank with fuel
before installing the fuel port.

3. When fuel is visible through the
bleeding bolt, tighten the bolt and
start the engine.
