3.4.5.1 Shield connection on the front panel

The pre-assembled cables for
SERVOSTAR 400 are provided
with an overall metal ferrule at the
amplifier end that is electrically
connected to the shielding.
Thread a cable tie through each slot
in the shielding strip (front panel) of
the servo amplifier.
Tighten up the cable ties so that the
shielding ferrule and the sheathing
of the cable is pressed down tightly
against the shielding strip.
