athinlayerofanti-foulingpainttothetransducerface.

Whenallthepreparationshavebeenmade,observethisprocedureforthemountingof
thetransducerIfrequired,additionalandmoredetailedproceduresmustbeprovidedby
theinstallationshipyard.
Prerequisites
•Thephysicallocationofthetransducerhasbeendetermined.
•Thesteelconduitsareinstalled.
•Asuitablefairingisdesignedandmounted.
Note
Wheneverrelevant,alldrawingsaswellasthephysicalinstallationofeachdevicemust
beapprovedbythevessel’ snationalregistryandcorrespondingmaritimeauthority
and/orclassicationsociety.
Thefollowingspecialtoolsarerequiredforthisinstallation:
•Torquewrenchforthemountingbolts
•Loctite270(permanenthigh-strengththreadlocker)
Context
Thisinstallationarrangementassumesthatyoucanaccesstheinsideoftheblisteror
dropkeeltomountthenuts.Ifthisisnotthecase,thetransducermustbemountedwith
threadedsteelrodsweldedtothebottomoftheblister.
