ConnectingpowerandgroundtotheWBT
TheEA440WBTispoweredbyadedicatedpowersupplyconnectedtotheACmains,
orfromasuitablebatteryforDCoperation.Theunitmustbeproperlygrounded.
Context
ThepowerfortheWBTisprovidedbyaseparatepowersupply.Itisnormallyconnected
toanuninterruptiblepowersupply,andwillautomaticallydetectthemainsvoltage(230
or115V AC)whenconnected.Theoutputfromthepowersupplyisconnectedtothe
+12VDCinputsocketontheWBT.TheACandDCpowercablesareprovidedwith
thepowersupply.
Procedure
1ConnecttheDCcablefromthepowersupplytothe+12Vdcsocket.
IfyouwishtooperateyourWBTfromaDCsupply,youcanuseanysuitable
batteryproviding+12to+15Vdc.
2ConnecttheACmainsplugonthepowersupplytothebulkheadpoweroutlet(or
anuninterruptedpowersupply).
3Connectthegroundingcablefromthenearestgroundingpointtothededicated
terminalontheWBT.
