TheWBTCabinetisacustomized19"-inchinstrumentrackttedwithpowerfulshock
absorbers.Thecabinetcancontainmaximumsevencustomdrawers,andeachofthese
willholdoneWBTanditspowersupply.AnEthernetswitchandapowerdistributor
panelareincludedthebottomofthecabinet.
Prerequisites
Usebulkheadsupport
bracket(s)tomakeinstallation
easier,and/or"U"shaped
prolestomakemorespace
forcablesunderthecabinet.
Weassumethatyouareequippedwithastandard
setoftools.Thistoolsetmustcomprisethenormal
toolsforelectronicandelectromechanicaltasks.This
includesdifferentscrewdrivertypes,pliers,spanners,
acablestripper,asolderingiron,etc.Eachtoolmust
beprovidedinvarioussizes.Werecommendthatall
toolsaredemagnetizedtoprotectyourequipment.
Thefollowingspecictoolsarerequiredforthistask:
•Powerdrill
•Weldingequipment
WerecommendthatyouinstalltheWBTCabinet
before
youinstalltheWBTDrawersandthe
transceivers.
Context
Thecabinetismountedontheshockabsorbers.Itis
mountedonthedeck,andsecuredagainstabulkhead.
Alternatively,youcanplaceitnexttoothersimilar
cabinets,andusetheseforsupport.
Ifrequiredforeasiercableaccess,thecabinetcan
beliftedupfromthedeckbyplacing"U"shaped
steelprolesundertheshockabsorbers.Additional
distancefromthebulkheadcanbeobtainedby
designingandinstallingsuitablemountingbrackets.
Theinstallationofthecabinetmustbeplannedandpreparedbytheinstallationshipyard
inclosecooperationwiththeenduser.Relevantinstallationdrawingswithmounting
detailsmustbeprovidedbytheshipyard.
VerifythatthelocationmeetstheenvironmentalrequirementsdenedfortheEA440.
