WhenyourecordontheMR2,dateandtimeinformationisautomati
callyaddedtothefilesothatyoucanmanageyourproj ectsmoreeasily.
IfyousetthedateandtimeontheMR2(seepage31),thecorrect
dateandtimeinformationwillbeaddedtothefile.How
ever,Ifyou
removethebatteriesorifthebatteriesintheunithavebeen
exhaustedforawhile(aboutthreedays)afteryousetthedateand
time,theinternalclockwillberesettothedefaultsetting.
Selecting the input source
Inadditiontousingthebuiltinmicrophoneforconvenientrecording,you
canrecorduseacommerciallyavailableexternalmicrophone.Alternatively,
youcanconnecthighoutputleveldevices,suchaskeyboardsoraudio
equipment,andrecordthem.

Adjusting the direction of the built-in microphone
