The ground pressure of the mower can be set via bore holes (I) to (VI) of perforated bar or via
the length of the supporting chains (4).
Perforated bar:
I = high mower relief = low ground pressure
VI = low mower relief = high ground pressure
Supporting chain:
Hinged short = high mower relief = low ground pressure
Hinged long = low mower relief = high ground pressure
Setting the ground pressure:
•
• Turn off PTO shaft.
• Lift mower via front hydraulics of tractor.
• Switch off tractor engine, remove ignition key and carry it with you.
Via perforated bar
• Hang relief springs into one of the bore holes (I) to (IV) in the perforated bar.
Via supporting chain
• Hinge supporting chain (4) into the chain link (5) shorter or longer.
Note
If the supporting chain cannot be set so that it is shorter in the chain link and the ground
pressure is still too high, the distance to the tractor can be increased by means of lower
suspension arm adapters. As a result, an extended setting of the supporting chain is possible.
