• Push pulleys (1) onto the shaft top and bottom.
Make certain the pulleys are flush with each other.
• Secure pulley with disc (3) and linch pin (4).
• Pull V-belts (5) onto the V-belt pulleys.
• To tension the belt drive, insert blade key (6) into the tensioning device (7) and push it to
the front until it engages.
• Secure tensioning device with linch pin (8).

When tensioning the V-belts, make certain that the adjustment aid (1) is flush with the upper
edge of the tension spring (2).
• Loosen nuts (3) if the adjustment aid is not flush.
• Tension with threaded rod (4), tension spring (2) and lock with nuts (3) so that the
adjustment aid is flush with the upper edge of the spring.
• Mount V-belt guard (8).
