► Lift the rear underrun protection until
the underrun protection locks into
place.

until the spring latches engage.
ü The rear underrun protection is folded
up.

► Slightly lift the rear underrun protection
and turn the spring latch by 180° de-
grees.
► Release the underrun protection lock.
► Fold down the rear underrun protec-
tion.
► Lock the rear underrun protection.
ü The rear underrun protection is folded
down.

WARNING
Risk of accident when driving with the
rear underrun protection swivelled in!
Driving with the rear underrun protection
swivelled in is not permitted by law. In a
collision, other vehicles can drive under
the trailer and fatally injure motorists.
► When driving without a rear stacker,
always ensure that the underrun pro-
tection is swivelled out and locked.

1 Bolt
2 Securing device
► Remove the securing devices.
► Pull out the bolt.
► Swivel out the rear underrun protection
(on both sides).
► Secure the bolt with the securing
devices.

elled out.
