6.20 Side stand

The side stand 1 is located on the left side of the vehicle.
The side stand is used for parking the motorcycle.
Info
The side stand must be folded up during motorcycle use.
The side stand is coupled with the safety start system; see the riding instructions.
Possible states
• Side stand folded out – The vehicle can be leaned on the side stand. The safety start
system is active.
• Side stand folded in – This position is mandatory for all journeys. The safety start sys-
tem is inactive.
6.21 Helmet lock

The steel cable in the tool set can be used to lock a helmet to the vehicle to prevent it from
being stolen.
Warning
Danger of accidents Impairment of ride behavior and vehicle operation if a helmet
or helmet lock is attached to the vehicle.
– Do not use the helmet lock for holding a helmet or other objects during the jour-
ney. Always remove the helmet lock before starting out.
