– Use the tool to press in the anti-rotation lock 2, then turn the piston rod 1.

The range of adjustment is limited.
– Remove the tool.
The spring tension on the anti-rotation lock is released and the hex nut is locked.

Position A of the foot brake lever may vary considerably, depending on the set-
ting.
10.21 Checking free travel of foot brake lever
Warning
Danger of accidents Brake system failure.
– If there is no free travel on the foot brake lever, pressure builds up on the rear brake circuit. The rear brake can fail due to over-
heating. Adjust the free travel on foot brake lever according to specifications.
