12.1 Adjusting the basic position of the hand brake lever

– Pull the brake lever forwards.
– Adjust the basic setting of the hand brake lever to your hand size by turning adjusting
wheel 1.

Do not make any adjustments while riding!
12.2 Checking the front brake discs
Warning
Danger of accidents Reduced braking efficiency due to worn brake disc(s).
– Change the worn brake disc(s) without delay. (Your authorized KTM RC8 workshop will be pleased to help.)

fied wear tolerance A.

Wear reduces the thickness of the brake discs in area 1 of the brake discs.

Front 4.5 mm (0.177 in)
» If the brake disc thickness is less than the specified value:
