The standard adjustment is the setting that provides the best vehicle handling.
When the fork is compressed, the suspension setting changes, causing the vehi-
cle to become more stable but also more difficult to handle.

Screw, top triple clamp M8 17 Nm
(12.5 lbf ft)
– Tighten screws 1.
Guideline
Screw, bottom triple clamp M8 15 Nm
(11.1 lbf ft)
– Tighten screw 3.
Guideline
Screw, handlebar stub M8 20 Nm
(14.8 lbf ft)
– Repeat the adjustment on the other fork leg.

The vehicle level setting on both fork legs must be identical.
