After rinsing the motorcycle with a gentle spray of water, allow it to dry thoroughly.
Remove the plug from the exhaust system.

Danger of accidentsReduced braking efficiency due to a wet or dirty brake sys-
tem.
Clean or dry a dirty or wet brake system by riding and braking gently.
After cleaning, ride a short distance until the engine reaches operating temperature.

The heat produced causes water at inaccessible locations in the engine and
brake system to evaporate.
After the motorcycle has cooled off, lubricate all moving parts and bearings.

Treat bare metal (except for brake discs and the exhaust system) with an anticorrosive.
