Auto Sleep Mode
The Auto Sleep mode
automatically puts the machine
into a state of sleep if no operation
has been performed for a preset
period of time (between 1 and 240
minutes). The factory default
setting is for 30 minutes.
The main power indicator will
light, and nothing is shown on the
Operation Panel.
It is possible to engage Auto
Sleep mode manually. Press
down on the [Reset/Power] key
for at least two seconds. Auto
Sleep mode engages
immediately.
To enable copying or scanning
again, press [Power/Reset].
NOTE: When Auto Sleep mode is engaged, all power to the machine,
except to the operation panel, is switched off. When power is switched Off
(
{
), all power to the machine, including to the operation panel, is off.
It is possible to set the amount of time before Auto Sleep mode engages.
