MPTE — MP Tray Empty
Format
MPTE mode;
Parameter
mode:
0= disables the paper-empty message despite the MP tray is empty.
1= enables the paper-empty message when the MP tray is em
pty.
Function
When the MP tray is configured as the default paper source, the MPTE command enables
or disables the paper-empty message which is shown when the MP tray becomes empty.
Mode 1 (default) enables the paper-empty message to display when the MP tray is
empty. When Mode is 0, this message is disabled despite the MP tray is empty and the
other paper source(s) is not empty. (showing Ready, for example).
It is not reset by the RES command, therefore, to change mode, the MPTE command
should be used.

To configure the MP tray as the default paper source and disable the paper-empty
message, command as follows:
