Oil is foaming The oil level is low. Add oil to the tank upto the
required level. Refer to
“Hydraulic Oil” on
page 123
Air is getting into the
system.
Check and tighten all hose
and pipe connections
between the pump and the
hydraulic tank.
The oil doesn’t have the
proper grading (i.e. too thin
in hot temperatures and
too thick in cold
temperatures).
See “Recommended
lubricants” on page 123 to
find out about the proper
type of oil to use. Refer
also to “Hydraulic Oil
Replacement Procedure”
on page 92.
