Note:If the vehicle is equipped with
proximity switches (Figure 75.
“Proximity switches”), loosen
the proximity switch on the
bracket and move the
proximity switch over the
trigger lever to get the light
found on the proximity switch
to turn
ON. The gap between
the proximity switch and the
trigger lever must be adjusted
to 3/16 of an inch.

10. To adjust the packer retraction
limit switch, retract the packer to
1” before the fully retracted
position, using the yellow button
on the packer control station;
11. Push the red emergency-stop
button when the packer reaches
the right position;
12. Stop the engine and apply the
lockout/tagout procedure. Refer
to “Lockout/Tagout Procedure”
on page 8 for details.
