3-8. RIVING KNIFE
The machine is always equipped with one riving knife for 355mm saw blade.
Always fit the proper riving knife:
1. Loosen nut A (Fig. 3-8.1) insert the riving knife with a wrench without complete
tightening it.
2. Position the riving knife about 3mm or 1/8" away from
the nearest tooth on the
main blade. (Gap B between saw blade and riving knife shall be 3mm approx.)
3. Tighten the nut A to secure the riving knife in the position. (Fig. 3-8.1)
4. Move the blade guard & sliding table back to the original position.

CAUTION: Always install the riving knife with gloves.
