8.3.3 Product Crushes at the Top of the Load

Crushes Top of Load

There can be damage to the top of the load even with the correct Containment Force.

Problem

The product is crushed at the top of the load

Solution

Decrease the Film Tension on the top of the load

Solution

Decrease the Film Coverage at the top of the load.

• Select Protected by Load Guardian

• Select Top

• Remove 1 layer on the top of the load

Solution

Lower the wrap height

Examine the film for:

• Cuts

• Damaged Edges

• Damaged Core

• Other Defects

Problem

Sharp corners at the top of the load and inboard loads.

Solution

Make a load specific profile for an inboard condition.

• Decrease the Film Tension at the top or the bottom of the load.

• Increase the Film Coverage at the bottom of the load, or decrease the Film

Coverage at the top of the load.

• Lower the Film Height Above the Load
