7 Test and Adjustment
7.1 Test the Ultrasonic Sensors
1. Connect the Lely Control Plus app to the machine.
2. In the main menu of the Lely Control Plus app tap
Testing.
3. Tap Ultrasound.
• A screen with testing results appears. The result should be Good or Excellent for both left and right
sensors.
• If not, clean the ultrasonic sensors and do the tests again.
• If the test results are still not Good or Excellent, the ultrasonic sensor(s) must be replaced.
7.2 Calibrate the Wheels
If after two calibration attempts the wheels appear to have a diameter less than 280 mm,
replace the tires.
On the smartphone:
1. Make sure the machine is on an alley and can freely drive straight for at least 5 m (16 ft) without
slipping or hitting an object.
2. Make a mark on the ground to indicate the start position.
3. Connect your smartphone to the machine.
4. In the main menu tap Settings.
5. Tap Wheels.
6. Tap Assisted calibration.
Write down the old calibration value. If the procedure fails you can enter this value
manually.
7. Tap Start. The machine starts driving.
8. After driving at least 5 m (16 ft) tap Stop.
9. Measure the exact distance the machine has driven (in mm).
10. Tap Real distance driven and set the measured distance.
11. Tap Calibrate. The machine calibrates the wheel diameter for the left and right wheel independently.
