9.2 Position and safety sensors
Various sensors record different linkage states to make operation easier and for safety reasons.
The number and version of sensors can vary depending on the type of linkage involved.

Door S9 Prevents vertical folding when the door is open.
Height adjust-
ment
S4
 Monitors the specified lift height for the linkage during vertical
extending or retracting.
 Maintains the position of the linkage outside the storage support
during vertical extending and retracting.
 Activates the vertical flaps.
Boom 1 S5/S6
 Monitors the vertically extended linkage and activates the hori-
zontal folding.
 Monitors the boom's bending in a range of 0 – 15° and prevents
any greater bending of the boom
Booms 2-(3)-4 S7/S8
 Monitoring the horizontally retracted linkage.
 Releasing the vertical extending and folding.
Lock /
pendulum lock

 Records the closed or opened lock/pendulum lock.
 Releasing the vertical and horizontal extending and retracting.
Centre position of
hydraulic slope
