CreatingRAIDvolumes
TocreateRAIDvolumes,dothefollowing:
1.PressCtrl+IwhenpromptedtoentertheIntelMatrixStorageManageroptionROMconfigurationutility
duringthecomputerstartup.
2.UsetheupanddownarrowkeystoselectCreateRAIDVolumeandpressEnter.
3.TypeaproperRAIDVolumenameintheNamefieldandpressTab.
4.UsethearrowkeystoselectaRAIDlevelintheRAIDLevelfieldandpressTab.
5.Ifappropriate,usethearrowkeystoselectaStripeSizeintheStripeSizefieldandpressTab.
6.TypeavolumesizeintheCapacityfieldandpressTab.
7.PressEntertoinitiatevolumecreation.
8.Whenprompted,pressYtoacceptthewarningmessageandcreatethevolume.
9.Returntostep2tocreateadditionalRAIDvolumes,orselectExitandpressEnter.
10.PressYwhenpromptedtoconfirmtheexit.
DeletingRAIDvolumes
TodeleteRAIDvolumes,dothefollowing:
1.PressCtrl+IwhenpromptedtoentertheIntelMatrixStorageManageroptionROMconfigurationutility
duringthecomputerstartup.
2.UsetheupanddownarrowkeystoselectDeleteRAIDVolumeandpressEnter.
3.UsethearrowkeystoselecttheRAIDvolumetobedeletedandpressDelete.
4.Whenprompted,pressYtoconfirmthedeletionoftheselectedRAIDvolume.DeletingaRAIDvolume
willresettheharddiskdrivestonon-RAID.
5.AfterdeletingaRAIDvolume,youcan:
•Returntostep2todeleteadditionalRAIDvolumes.

•UsetheupanddownarrowkeystoselectExitandpressEnter.
Resettingdiskstonon-RAID
