Step5.Ifyouareinstructedtoreturnthetopcover,followallofthepackaginginstructions,anduseany
packagingmaterialsforshippingthataresuppliedtoyou.
Replacingthetopcover
Usethisinformationtoreplacetheservertopcover.
Toreplacetheservertopcover,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.Makesurethatallcables,adapters,andothercomponentsareinstalledandseatedcorrectly
andthatyouhavenotleftloosetoolsorpartsinsidetheserver.Also,makesurethatallinternal
cablesarecorrectlyrouted.
Important:Beforeyouslidethetopcoverforward,makesurethatallthetabsandthepinson
thetopandsideofthetopcoverengagethechassiscorrectly.
Step2.Placethecover-releaselatchintheopen(up)position.
Step3.Positionthetopcoverontopoftheserver.
Step4.Insertthebottomtabsofthetopcoverintothematchingslotsintheserverchassis.
Step5.Pressdownonthecover-releaselatchtoslidethecoverforwardandlockthecoverinplace.
