ToinstallaPCIethermalsolutionkit,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”on
page289.
Step2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables,
ifnecessary.
Step3.Removethetopcover(see“Removingthetopcover”onpage143).
Step4.Aligntheairbaffletabwiththeslotontherightsideofthechassis;then,lowertheairbaffleinto
theserver.Presstheairbaffledownuntilitissecurelyseated.

configurationsettings.
Someoptionaldeviceshavedevicedriversthatyoumustinstall.Forinformationaboutinstallingdevice
drivers,seethedocumentationthatcomeswitheachdevice.
IftheserverhasanoptionalRAIDadapterandyouhaveinstalledorremovedaharddiskdrive,seethe
documentationthatcomeswiththeRAIDadapterforinformationaboutreconfiguringthediskarrays.
