Replacingthefancageassembly
Usethisinformationtoreplacethefancageassembly.
Toinstallthefancageassembly,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”on
page289
.
Step2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectallpowercords.
Step3.Removethetopcover(see“Removingthetopcover”onpage143).
Step4.1Alignthepinsonthefancageassemblywiththeslotsonbothsidesofthechassisandlowerit
intotheserver.
Step5.2Rotatethefancageassemblyreleaselatchesdownuntilthereleaselatchesareinthelocked
positionandmakesuretheassemblyiscorrectlyseatedintoplace.
