Ifyouhavejustaddednewsoftwareoranewoptionaldeviceandtheserverisnotworking,completethe
followingstepsbeforeyouusethetroubleshootingtables:
Step1.Checkthesystem-errorLEDontheoperatorinformationpanel;ifitislit,checktheLCDsystem
informationdisplaypanel.
Step2.Removethesoftwareordevicethatyoujustadded.
Step3.RunDynamicSystemAnalysis(DSA)todeterminewhethertheserverisrunningcorrectly(for
informationaboutusingDSA,seeAppendixC“DSAdiagnostictestresults”onpage1055).
Step4.Reinstallthenewsoftwareornewdevice.

3.Reseatthefollowingcomponents:

4.Replacethecomponentslistedinstep3oneatatime,intheordershown,
restartingtheservereachtime.
5.(Trainedtechnicianonly)Replacethesystemboard.
