System-eventlog:ThislogcontainsPOSTandsystemmanagementinterrupt(SMI)eventsandall
eventsthataregeneratedbythebaseboardmanagementcontrollerthatisembeddedintheintegrated
managementmodule(IMM).Youcanviewthecontentsofthesystem-eventlogthroughtheSetup
utilityandthroughtheDynamicSystemAnalysis(DSA)program(asIPMIeventlog).Thesystem-event
logislimitedinsize.Whenitisfull,newentrieswillnotoverwriteexistingentries;therefore,youmust
periodicallyclearthesystem-eventlogthroughtheSetuputility.Whenyouaretroubleshootinganerror,
youmighthavetosaveandthenclearthesystem-eventlogtomakethemostrecenteventsavailablefor
