Youmustturnofftheserverbeforeremovingsimple-swapdrivesfromtheserver.Toremoveasimple-swap
SATAharddiskdrive,completethefollowingsteps.
Attention:
•Toavoiddamagetotheharddiskdriveconnectors,makesurethattheservercoverisinplaceandfully
closedwheneveryouinstallorremoveaharddiskdrive.
•Tomakesurethatthereisadequatesystemcooling,donotoperatetheserverformorethan2minutes
withouteitheraharddiskdriveorafillerpanelinstalledineachbay.

Step2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Step3.Pinchonthereleaselatchandpulltheharddiskdriveoutofthedrivebay.
