ToremovetheLCDsysteminformationdisplaypanelinsidethemediacageona2.5-inchmodel,complete
thefollowingsteps.
1.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”onpage289.
2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables,if
necessary.
3.Removethetopcover(see“Removingthetopcover”onpage143).
4.Removethefancageassembly“Removingthefancageassembly”onpage171).
5.Removethemediacage(see“Removingthemediacage”onpage175),
6.DisconnectthecablefromthebackoftheLCDsysteminformationdisplaypanel.
Note:Todisconnectthecable,pressevenlyontheconnectorreleaselatchfirst;then,pullthecableout.
7.1PullthetabontheLCDretentionbrackettothelefttodisengagetheretentionbracket.2Rotatethe
