Operation
TheIcer-ette'son-offswitchisjust
beneaththedoor.Aunitbeginstoproduce
icewithin60minutesafterstart-up.Ice
productionstopsautomaticallywhenthe
bucketisfullenoughtointerferewiththe
wireshut-offarm.Theunitshouldnotbe
turned"off"withthedoorclosedandiceor
water inside.
Maintenance
Periodicallyvacuumdustanddirtfromthe
condenser,locatedbehindlouvredgrillat
thebottomfrontoftheunittakingcarenot
todamagealuminiumnsintheprocess.
Regularlyinspectplumbingconnectionsto
insurethatnoleaksarepresent.
Whennecessary,defrostandthoroughly
cleantheinsideoftheunitwithmildsoap
andwater.Donotuseelectricalheating
devices,sharporpointedtoolswhen
defrosting.Whendefrostingorleavingthe
unitturnedoff,propandleavethedoor
openusingdoor-locklink.Thisallowsair
todrytheinsideofthecabinet,reducing
thechanceformildewanddamagetothe
mechanism'scomponents.
CAUTION
Anyrestrictionofairoworventilationwill
disruptnormaloperationoftheunit,
resultingindamagetocomponentsand
voids warranty.

Itisrecommendedthatonlyaqualied
refrigerationtechnicianperformserviceon
Icer-ette’s.Becauseofhighvoltage,high
pressurerefrigeration,andpresenceof
waterintheunit,apersonwhoisnot
technicallyqualiedmaybesubjectto
electricshockhazard.IftheIcer-etteis
wiredtoajunctionboxorotherwisedirect
totheACpowersupply,theappropriate
circuitbreakermustbeturnedofftocut
thepowertothemachine.
TURNINGTHEON-OFFSWITCHTO
THE“OFF”POSITIONDOESNOT
DISCONNECT THE UNIT.
FROMTHEPOWERSOURCEANDTHE

REMAIN.
