• Ensurethatnavigationlightsareon
atalltimeswheninfog.
• Hoistradarreectorminimum2feet
abovedecktoensureyouare
visible to other vessels radar
scanners.

Powerdrivenvesselsmustdisplay:
• Mastheadlight–anunbrokenwhite
lightvisibleoveranarcofthehorizon
of225°andxedtoshowfromright
aheadto22½°abaftthebeamon
either side.
• Sidelights–redlightonportside,
greenlightonstarboardsideeach
showinganunbrokenlightoveranarc
ofthehorizonof112½°fromright
aheadto22½°abaftthebeamonits
respectiveside.
• Sternlight–anunbrokenwhitelight
visibleoveranarcof135°xedto
showthelight67½°fromrightafton
eachsideofthevessel
