Therearesixpumps:
-Onemanualbilgepumpineachkeelsump
-Oneelectricalbilgepumpineachkeelsump
-Oneelectricalbilgepumpineachengineroom
The manual pumps are operated from the passageway at the base of the stairways
alongsidethetoiletcompartmentslocatednexttothecompanionwaystairwaysoneither
side of the vessel.The pump handles are an integral part of the pump.The electric
bilgepumpsarewireddirectlytothehousebatteriesviaoatswitcheswhichwilloperate
wheneverthereissufcientuidinthesumpstoactuateheoatswitch.Whenoperating,
awarninglightwillcomeonatthehelmstationandDCpanel.Thehighwaterbilgealarm
oatswitchesarelocatedineachcompanionwaysumpapproximatelylevelwiththetop
oftheautomaticbilgepumptheywilloperateanaudiblealarmattheDCpanelifthebilge
waterlevelreachesthem.Theelectricbilgepumpsinthekeelsumpsmaybemanually
overridden&operatedfromtheDCswitchpanel,inwhichcasethewarninglightswillnot
comeon.

WARNING
Care should be taken to ensure that the bilges are oil and fuel free to avoid pollution.
The area around the bilge pump intakes should be kept clean and free of loose
material and debris that could get sucked into the pump. The proper operation
of the bilge pumps is vital and failure to maintain them in full operating condition
could jeopardise the safety of the vessel in an emergency
