IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT GAS
SYSTEMS ARE A POTENTIAL HAZARD
UNLESS OPERATED PROPERLY AS
FOLLOWS.
1. TesttheLPGsystemforleakagebefore
use.Checkallconnectionsforleaksas
follows:
- Beforeeachuse.Withallappliance
valvesclosed,andthegascylinder
valve opened, allow the system
pressure to stabilize and observe
the pressure gauge reading for a
minimumof3minutes.Thereading
shouldremainconstantifthereare
noleakspresent.
- If the pressure gauge drops then
manually test the systemwith
soapy water or detergent solution
(with theappliance-burner valves
closed and cylinder and system
valves open). To locate the leak.
2. Once the leak is detected, close the
cylinder valve and have the system
repairedbeforefurtheruse.Acompetent
personshouldmakesystemrepairs.
3. CLOSE THE MANUAL VALVES WHEN
THE GAS IS NOT IN USE.
4. IN AN EMERGENCY, CLOSE THE
MANUAL VALVES ON THE BOTTLES.
DO NOT RELY ON THE SOLENOID
VALVE.
5. Makesurethevalvesonthestoveare
closed before opening the manual
valves and the solenoid valve.
6. NEVER USE A FLAME TO FIND A
LEAK.
7. Ammonia can corrode copper. Do not
use a solvent or a liquid containing
ammoniaonthecopperpipesoraleak

BE ADEQUATE VENTILATION WHEN

ARE USED.

10. DO NOT STOW ANYTHING ELSE IN
THEGASCYLINDERLOCKER.
