WARNING
Multi-hulls may be capsized if
incorrectly handled, the following
precautions apply:

awarethattheboatcouldbe
vulnerabletocapsizeinrollorpitch,
particularlyinbreakingseasand
operatetheboataccordingly.
2. Exercisecarewhenalteringcourse
fromafollowingtoabeamsea
especiallyinbreakingseas.
3 Thehelmsmanmustensurethatthe
choiceofsailstobesetisappropriate
withrespecttotheprevailingwind
strength,relativewinddirection,and
sea state.
Thisboathasbeenassessedascapable
ofsupportingthecrewevenwhen
swamped
This boat may capsize and remain
inverted if excessive sail is carried. It is
designed not to sink if this occurs. The
working sail plan should be reduced if the
apparent wind exceeds 20 knots, force 5
on the Beaufort scale or 37 km/h.
Thewindstrengthquotedinthisowner’s
manualcorrespondstoawindspeedof
notgreaterthan70%ofthatrequiredto
liftthewindwardhullofthecatamaranout
ofthewater.Thesafewindspeedshould
permitsafesailingwhentheboatison
autopilotandwhencrewmembersmay
notbeclosetothesailcontrols.
Themaximumsafewindspeedwithfull
sailmayalsoberestrictedbythestrength
oftherig,rigattachmentsandsails.The
informationprovidedfortheowneris
basedonthelowerofthestabilityandthe
strengthlimitationsascalculatedbythe
designer.
Thewindspeedshowncorrespondstothe
apparentwindspeedatwhichthe
standardsailareamustbereefed,thisis
inaccordancewiththerequirementsof
ISO12217–2andisgiveninknots,
