2-19.1 BATTERY OPERATION.
The engine batteries are situated in their
respective engine rooms, the house
batteries are in the aft cockpit battery
locker and the genset starter battery is
situatedunderthesaloonseatnexttothe
forward cockpit door. The house battery
switchis located behind anaccesspanel
underthesetteeasyouenterthroughthe
companionway. Genset starter battery
switchislocatedinthegalleylockerunder
thesinkbytheforwardcockpitdoor.
Thehousebatteryswitchshouldbelefton
at all times while the vessel is occupied,
ANDSWITCHEDOFFINTHEEVENTOF
ANELECTRICALFIRE!
House

Theenginebatteryswitchesaresituatedin
theportandstarboardaftcabinsoutboard
hanginglockers.
NEVER TOUCH THE POSITIVE (+)
SWITCH WHILST THE ENGINES ARE
RUNNING.
When leaving the vessel the house
battery, genset and engine starter
battery switches should be in the 'off'
position.
