Horizontal sliding contact connector
This connector uses a slide locking actuator to lock the ribbon cable into the ZIF connector.
Warning—Potential Damage: When opening or closing this type of actuator, gently push or pull the two tabs
located on each end of the actuator. Do not close the actuator from the center of the actuator. Do not use a
screwdriver to open or close the actuator to avoid damage to the cable or connector.
Removing the cable
1 Slide the tabs away from the connector.
2 Remove the cable.
