7 Programming
General
Information
The SOLAIR can be programmed and operated using the MODBUS
Protocol. The full MODBUS protocol is detailed in Appendix B.
This chapter contains the information needed to program the basic
configuration for the instrument to meet the userr needs.
Communicating
with the
Instrument
The RJ45 connector on the instrument marked “RS485” in Figure 7-1
is used to connect the unit to a COM port on a desktop or laptop PC.
WARNING:
+24VDC is
present on RS485 Port
pin 7 when instrument
power is applied.
