PARTICLE DISPLAY
Data on the instrument can be displayed in Differential (DIFF) or
Cumulative (CUML) counts.
For example, the cumulative count for the 1Pm channel is the sum of
that channel’s count + 2.5Pm count + the 5Pm count.
The differential count for the 1Pm channel is the number of particles
between 1Pm and 2.5Pm.
The data displays on the MAIN screen according to whichever is
selected (DIFF or CUML).
The data format is either Raw (RAW) or Normalized (NORM). Raw
data displays the actual number of particles counted. Normalized data
shows particle concentrations calculated from the raw data based on the
settings chosen (ft

).
Volume of Air = Sample time (minutes) x FlowRate (CFM)
Normalized Data = Number of Particles/Volume of Air
Press BACK to return to the Configuration screen or press MAIN to
return to the MAIN screen.
