• This safety filter, located on the binocular-magnifier
housing, is integrated in every slit lamp LDU unit. It is
usually a fixed optics lens, but there is an option to install
a portable additional safety filter.
• It prevents back reflections during laser treatment,
subsequently minimizes the risk of injury to the user’s
eyes.
• The orange filter provides protection as follows:
• >OD4 @ 577 / 670 / 532 / 561 / 810 nm
• The user views the treatment site via the binoculars and
eyepieces.
• The interpupillary distance and the user’s unique diopter
settings can be adjusted by the controls on the
eyepieces.
