Cleaning (Gracie)
Prepare the chair for cleaning as follows:
• Raise the chair to the highest position.
• Adjust the backrest so that you have access to the reverse side.
• Disconnect the chair from the mains.
Daily cleaning
Clean the following parts of the chair:
• All controls for chair adjustment
• All handles
• Freely accessible padding surfaces
Complete cleaning and disinfection
Clean the following parts of the chair:
• All controls for chair adjustment
• Support areas comprising a head cushion starting from the head section
towards the bottom section
• Hangers and handles
• Leg holders
• Chair frame
• Lift the left plastic chassis cover and clean the contaminated areas
• Infusion stand and holder
• Wheels and brake pedals
For safe and gentle cleaning:
• Do not use any strong acids or bases (optimal pH range is 6 - 8).
• Use only cleaning agents that are suitable for cleaning medical
equipment.
• Do not use abrasive powders, steel wool or other materials and cleaning
agents.
• Never use any corrosive or vitriolic cleaning agents.
• Never use cleaning agents that cause calcium carbonate to settle.
• Never use cleaning agents with solvents that could affect the structure
and consistency of plastics (benzene, toluene, acetone, etc.).
• Carefully clean the electrical components and allow them to dry
completely.
• Never immerse SCU in water or clean it with steam.
• Follow local guidelines for infection control.
• Do not use open flames when working with cleaning and disinfecting
agents!
• Discoloration of the upholstery due to the transfer of color pigment from
clothing or other products coming into contact with the surface (e.g.
jeans pants) is not a sign of reduced quality of the leatherette and this
discoloration cannot be claimed under warranty.
• Make sure that all cleaning agents used are approved
