4.9 Heating of seat section
The sitting part can be equipped with heating as accessory equipment. Its
control is only on the left side of the sitting part.
Seat heating serves to increase the patient's comfort during the examination.
The seat can be individually adjusted to the surface temperature using the "+"
(temperature increase switch) and "-" (temperature decrease switch) buttons –
(see figure). In the case of connecting to the electrical network, the seat
automatically does not turn on – in Stand By mode that signalizes the flashing
middle LED on the panel. To turn it is necessary to press the „switch heater“
and then set the temperature individually The temperature change occurs
depending on the ambient environment. Seat heating switches off automatically
after eight hours, respectively press again the „switch heater“ to disable the
function.
It is prohibited to use the seat heating in case of any mechanical damage
of the seating section. In this situation it is necessary to call an authorized
service center to repair the seating section and check the function and
safety of heating.
The operator should acquaint the patient with the fact of the heated
surface of the seat and warn of a possible temperature change, which may
be higher than the normal ambient temperature.
