8 Maintenance
The battery voltage (without load) must be checked within the scope of
regular annual revisions of the medical equipment. If the measured
voltage is below 12 V (24 V in case that two battery cells are measured at a
time), the battery must be replaced without delay. To ensure proper chair
operation, we recommend replacing the battery at least once every 3
years.
Treads of fastening screws or the joins on the Goepel supports may get degreased
by disinfectants. In these cases, timely lubrication prevents costly repairs.

of the wireless foot
control.
Switch of the
wireless controller
located on the rear
chair panel is in
position "0" (OFF).
Set this switch to
position "I" (ON).
Battery light icon
turns on and off.
Discharged battery
in the remote foot
control.
Replace batteries
in the remote foot
control.
Check whether the
chair operates with
other remote foot
control. If so,
replace the remote
foot control.
