Storage area for the hand controller is both on the left and right of the chassis
(Fig. 1). Under the thigh rest (Fig. 2, does not apply for the version with Goepel
type leg rest), on the foot section (Fig. 4), on the GKB-GX screen arm (Fig. 4).
4.3 Motorized Adjustments (Mobile Foot Controller)
The wireless foot controller provides remote radio transmission of a command
for activation of the Gracie memory functions related to the positions for getting
on, examination, and ultrasound scan. The remote control transmitter is
powered by two alkaline batteries of LR14 type, C size, voltage 1.5 V. The
mobile wireless foot controller signal range is 5 m from the transmitter located in
the chair base. The assumed minimum service life is approx. half a year. For
correct function we recommend using these types of batteries:
1) GP (14AU-U2)
2) VARTA (BV4914)
3) Duracell (EY-DUR-LR14X2)
The turned on wireless control of the foot controller is indicated by the pilot light
(LED diode) on the board of fixed foot control (Fig. 1). Control of the foot
controller can be turned off by the switch at the back side of the chair (Fig. 2).
