QUICK LOAD SERVO 80 S2
2.2.3. Transformers 230 V (T1) and 24 VDC (T2)
The transformers T1 and T2 power the entire low voltage network of the bar feed system, as well as a
portion of the interface signals, (see section INTERFACE in this chapter).
The transformer T1 has an output of 230 Volts which powers the amplifier of the SERVO motor
A fuse installed in a support protects the transformer T1 output.
To replace the fuse:
1) Unscrew the cap a quarter of a turn to the left.
2) Remove and replace the fuse with an identical one, and put the cap back.
On the primary side, the transformer accepts a voltage of 200 V – 480 V, 50 Hz/60 Hz. Measure the power
provided by the lathe. If necessary, adapt the terminal block wiring.
Designation Description
A Primary terminal block 200 V – 480 V, 50 Hz/60 Hz ± 15%
B Secondary terminal block, 230 V
C Fuse (3.15 A)
The transformer T2 has an output of 24 VDC and powers the rest of the barfeed.
The transformer T2 output is protected by the fuse FU1 installed in a support in the electrical control cabinet.
Although fuses seldom need replacing, is it advisable to keep some spare ones on hand.
