64 CHAPTER 5: GENERAL DESCRIPTION
QUICK LOAD SERVO 80 S2
11. SOFTWARE OPTIONS
Please read the safety precautions described at the beginning of this manual before handling
the following devices.
Loading with part counter (for sub-spindle equipped lathe)
During the feeding with a sub-spindle, the LNS bar feed is equipped with a part counter, allowing it to continue
to manage the bar stock loading.
Pre-loading shafts into a non rotating spindle liner
This application allows the loading of the next shaft into a non rotating spindle liner while the current shaft is
still being machined.
Note: For safety reasons, this application must be unlocked with a specific code.
Remnant optimisation
This function is used to machine the remnant (when the remaining bar stock is too short to allow a new part
machining) to optimise its output, or to cut it in several parts to facilitate the evacuation. Following parameters
are used in this case:
- Auxiliary end of bar;
- Overall feeding length to machine the remnant;
- Number of clamping device openings to machine the remnant.
Deep end stop
When this function is activated, the pusher is used as a mechanical stop behind the clamping device, allowing
an accurate manual positioning of parts. When the clamping device is closed, the pusher reverses to avoid any
contact with the rotating part (see chapter 6 "Operation").
Customised function for machining centers
This application is used to load bar stocks in a machining center, in a non-rotating spindle. In this case, the
loading pusher is used to feed the material, then the feeding pusher takes over the feeding.
Note: For safety reasons, this application must be unlocked with a specific code.
