3.3.1. USB´s
Type A (Host). Used to connect USB memory (USB-Stick):
Pin 1 – VBUS (+5VDC)
Pin 2 – DATA -
Pin 3 – DATA +
Pin 4 – GROUND (0 VDC)
IMPORTANT: Console has 2 USB connectors of this type (host) labeled as 1 & 2. Only the
connector 1 is implemented and can be used. FAT16 format is recommended.
Type B (Device). Used to connect a PC for software updates:
Pin 1 – VBUS (+5VDC)
Pin 2 – DATA -
Pin 3 – DATA +
Pin 4 – GROUND (0 VDC)

3.4. LT-LINK
SUBD-9 connector, standard RS485. Connector for expansion devices such as remote control, etc.
3.5. VGA (optional)
SUBD-15 connector, video standard. If Piccolo has the optional video card, then it is possible to
connect a conventional monitor or a TFT. Video signal: VGA compatible.
3.6. DC-IN (& switcher)
Piccolo has an external power supply, provided with the console with following characteristics:
Voltage range: 90-264 VAC
Frequency: 47-63Hz
Output voltage: 12 VDC
Output current: 1.5 A / 18W
Output connector: Standard type P1J. Centre positive (+)
Piccolo has a built in power switch. This makes it unnecessary to connect or disconnect the power
cable every time. If you do not need Piccolo it is saver to disconnect it as well as the power supply.
