29.2. DELETING EFFECTS, PAGES & MACROS
Effects, pages and macros use the same commands for delete that cues and groups do. Example, the
commands for effects:
Delete a known effect #: [EFFECT][#][DELETE]
Delete a range of effects: [EFFECT][#] [THRU][#][DELETE]
Delete all the stored effects: [EFFECT][DELETE]
30. LN.TM FUNCTION (Learn Time)
This function, learn time, is accessible through the soft keys and makes it possible to learn times
from a manual execution of a Crossfade or of effects (cues in X1/X2).
Learn the step time of an effect:
Load the effect in a Submaster, ready to be activated
Activate [4_B]LN-TM (Led on).
Mark the step time, pressing 2 times [S#] with the desired rhythm.
o Automatically, the effect adopts this step time and [4_B]LN-TM is deactivated.
Learn auto-time for the cue in X2 ( ):
Load in the Crossfader the desired cue (or place it in X2).
Activate [4_B]LN-TM (Led on)
Press [GO]. Wait for the current cross-fade to be ended, from this moment the auto-time
begins to count ( ). Press [GO] again, at the desired time event, to capture the . At the
same time the next cross-fade is started
Repeat the process for the next cue (pressing [GO]) as many times as useful
End the process deactivating [4_B]LN-TM (Led off).
Learn fade-times & wait-times ( ) for the cue in X2:
Load in the Crossfader the desired cue (or place it in X2)
Activate [4_B]LN-TM (Led on)
Move, manually, the faders X1 & X2 joined or not, from one extreme to the other to do
the cross-fade. During this process the cue times has been captured, with linear calculation.
Repeat the process for the next cue (moving faders) as many times as will be useful
End the process deactivating [4_B]LN-TM (Led off).
Edit a fade or wait time in the cues table, without changing the moment of start to the next cross-
fade in the time line:
Open the cues table pressing [CUE][CUE]
Activate [4_B]LN-TM (Led on).
Edit the desired time ( ). Note that the absolute value for is changed to
compensate to the “moment” of the next cross-fade.
End the process deactivating [4_B]LN-TM (Led off).
